Basic Student Email Service Information

This center provides Google Cloud storage for all current students. Student accounts are in the format studentid@gms.tcu.edu.tw, and students can continue to use this email address for five years after graduation.
New student emails are automatically created based on their student ID upon admission. Your initial login password is located on the “New Student Comprehensive Form” website at https://recruit.tcu.edu.tw/.
You can access the Tzu Chi University GMS portal from there.
If you forget your password, please bring your student ID to the Computer Center at the Central/Jianguo Campus or the Joint Office at the Jieren Campus to contact our center staff for assistance in changing your password. To protect personal information security, we will not accept password change requests made by phone, email, or other means without identity verification.
Google currently provides this cloud service to schools free of charge. Space features and restrictions are subject to the company’s policies.

Faculty and Staff Email Service Basics

Two email accounts are available: one hosted by the university and one hosted on GMail.
New faculty and staff members should complete the account application form provided by the Human Resources Office and submit it to the Center to create an account.
Departments wishing to apply for accounts for part-time faculty or staff for business purposes can download the application form from the Center’s website.
The university’s hosted email account provides 2GB of on-campus email hosting space for all faculty and staff. The account format is xxx@mail2.tcu.edu.tw. You can connect to this server using Outlook or other familiar email readers. It provides a convenient tree-based address book.

The GMail email account provides Google Drive storage for all faculty and staff. The account format is xxx@gms.tcu.edu.tw.
