Large-format Printing

Target Audience

Poster printing services are limited to academic units, administrative units, and faculty.

Note: Poster printing for student clubs is managed by the Office of Student Affairs.

Purpose

Poster printing is limited to: teaching, official business, short-term events such as seminars.

Application Method and Authority:

Poster printing applications must be completed through the University Administration System and approved by the Computing Center before printing can be processed. Currently, only faculty, staff, club presidents, and departmental association presidents are authorized to apply. Students should contact the designated person for the poster’s purpose. For example, for papers or special projects, please contact your advisor or departmental assistant; for club activities, please contact the club president.

Size and Restrictions

  • Posters for faculty research (A0 size, 118.9cm x 84.1cm) are limited to two per presentation. 
  • Academic papers (A0 size, 118.9cm x 84.1cm) and papers (A1 size, 84.1cm x 59.4cm) are limited to two per presentation. 
  • Seminar schedules (A0 size, 118.9cm x 84.1cm) and presentation topics (A1 size, 84.1cm x 59.4cm) are based on the schedule of the seminar organizer. (If the number of presentations exceeds 20, please submit a signed copy and obtain approval from your supervisor.)
  • Administrative posters (A1 size, 84.1cm x 59.4cm) are limited to three per presentation.
  • Departmental activities posters (A1 size, 84.1cm x 59.4cm) are limited to three per presentation.
  • Club activities posters (A2 size, 59.4cm x 42.0cm) are limited to four per presentation. (Two posters per month for social activities)
  • We do not support printing of posters for departmental events; please print them off-campus.
  • To conserve printing materials, please avoid using solid-color backgrounds or patterns for your posters. If your poster design overloads the inkjet printer, we may refuse printing services.
