The first step is to confirm the GMS (GMail) and student information system account.

  • Confirm whether your GMS and password can be used normally, GMS (GMail) is a network service available to our students, which can be set up and used on PC and cell phone; please refer to the GMS website for detailed description, and the account and password required by new students for the first time can be obtained from the website of New Student Comprehensive Fill-in Form, and Google will ask you to change your password for the first time you log in to the GMS.
  • Confirm that your Student Information System account and password are working properly. The system provides you with the ability to apply for and sign up for various administrative services of the University.
  • The default password for GMS (GMAIL) is different from the default password for the Student Information System. For information security reasons, it is not recommended that you set the same password for both systems.

How can I get information about school announcements quickly?

  • The [What’s New] section of our student information system allows you to get complete information about all kinds of announcements.
  • Receive our e-mail account to receive important daily information about school announcements in your mailbox.

Where can I use the campus wireless LAN?

  • There are wireless signals throughout the campus, and most laptops and cell phones can be used without difficulty.
  • We are a member of the TANet roaming exchange, and you can roam across dozens of universities in Taiwan with your email account and password.

How do I know what seminars or events are being held on campus?

  • Most events and seminars are posted on the Student Information System – [Campus Event Registration]

Can I use the computers in the computer classrooms?

  • There are three computer classrooms (two in C304 and C305 in the Central Campus and one in 2H103 in the Jieren Campus), which are available to all staff and students for classroom use or free access to computers. The classrooms are mainly used for class scheduling, and can be used freely during non-class hours. Opening hours: 08:00~22:00, closed during summer and winter vacations.
